Joey Varin - Owner

Joey Varin is the Owner of Lee Built Homes. He was born and raised on Hilton Head Island and currently lives there with his family. Joey graduated from The Citadel in 1999 and spent his time away from the Island primarily in Charleston, only leaving there for a few years in the Army with the 10th Mountain Division. He still serves in the SC National Guard as an Engineer Officer. After leaving active duty Army in 2006 and starting his career in residential construction he learned many aspects of the business transitioning from building, purchasing, resource management and managerial roles. Joey learned early on the importance of listening to clients, problem solving and providing them with guidance when they need it. It was those skills that allowed him to forge his own path in 2014 and begin Lee Built Homes. When he’s not busy with construction he spends as much time as possible with his little girls and wife, usually in some body of water.

Joey and Lee Built Homes’ mission is to build a legacy of quality homes by creating value in all of their new homes and renovations through effective management and relationship building. Joey wants you to enjoy the building and renovation experience and his goal is that the end result is even better than you envisioned. Lee Built Homes prides itself on responsiveness, attentiveness, commitment, building and nurturing relationships. The construction process can be intimidating and overwhelming, but with good communication and honest hard work your concerns can be put at ease. We want to walk away from the project knowing we created value, a place to call home and a new friend.
